Dinner for 8 at 6  - 4th Saturday.  This is a evening of food and fellowship in a smaller group of  8 people from our church.    Sign up with Debra H. 

 

Encouraged…  Supported…???  Do you have a group of friends that encourage your growth in the Lord and support you when you are going through difficulties?  Our goal at CCB would be to have every person in our church plugged into at least one small group.  If you need more information about our small groups feel free to talk to any of the ministry leaders listed in the Weekly Events schedule (above).

Hurricane Relief — Calvary Chapel Bothell is adopting a sister church in the Hurricane Katrina affected area.  We are working with Pastor Steve Brown at Calvary Gold Coast in Biloxi, Mississippi.   In addition to monetary donations, we are investigating what supplies they may need and how we minister to them over the long term including a SOAR outreach coming this Summer. 

 

Special Events:

 

Echo Glen is a ministry to visit teens in prison.  Our monthly outreach to the North Bend facility is today.  Meet to prepare in room 105 at 12:30PM-1:30PM, then we will depart around 4PM to bless the kids.  If you brought cookies, please give them to an usher.  You can talk to Bill for more information. 

 

 

Home Fellowships and Bible Studies are a great opportunity to grow in our relationship with the Lord together and develop friendships.   Get plugged in to one of these great small groups listed in the Regular Weekly Events section.

Do you have a heart for prayer?  Sign-ups for the CCB Thursday “Day of Prayer” will be passed around today at church.    Plan to join us at the church in Maltby (next to the Maltby Café) from 7:30-9:00 PM the 2nd and 4th Thursdays

 

Pre-Service Prayer is from 9:15-9:45 AM on Sundays just inside the NSC entrance.

 

Sign-up for a 15 minute prayer timeslot as you specifically lift up needs of our church body and ask the Lord to intervene.  The sign-up sheet will be in the fellowship hall.  Come out to the Maltby Church  Thursday night 7:30 PM to 9:00PM for worship and prayer.

 

Have you been baptized?   Baptism is a demonstration and declaration of our faith in Jesus, and shows a desire to follow him with our whole life (Rom 6:1-7).  If you haven’t been baptized since receiving Jesus Christ, this would be a great time to follow him in loving obedience to his command in Matthew 28:28-20.  Talk to Pastor Marty if you think you should be baptized

 

Men: Monthly Men’s Breakfast will be held the last Saturday of the Month at 7:00 AM at Jack
Henderson’s.

 

One to One Discipleship is a ministry to help individual Christians get grounded in their faith and in the Word of God.  If you are interested talk to Jack or Peggy.
